Keep On Growing was performed three times by the Grateful Dead in June 1985 and once in February 1986. It was also played by The Dead in 2004 and about a dozen times by Phil Lesh & Friends. The song was performed by Bill Kreutzmann, Mike Gordon and Scott Murawski in January 2008.

The song was probably written in the Spring of 1970 and was first released on the Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs album in November 1970.
